How Translation Works
When you add a dish name, description, or any other menu text in your preferred language, Menuki automatically translates it into the other languages you’ve chosen. It’s fast, accurate, and built specifically for hospitality.
Our Translation Engine
We use a trained machine translation (MT) engine that focuses on hospitality terms and concepts.
This means it understands menus, dishes, and ingredients — not just generic language.
For example, if you use a standard tool like Google Translate,
“tagliere di salumi” might end up as “cutting board of cold cuts”.
Technically correct… but definitely not appetizing.
Our engine knows it should be “charcuterie board” — the way a real menu would say it.
Man in the Loop (Paid Plans Only)
In certain plans, we include what’s called a “man in the loop” — which simply means a real human reviews the translations.
This extra step ensures:
